Happy and relaxing moments are extremely important to have and are of course good for your health. With these three tips, you can keep the happy & positive feelings up after the weekend.

  1. Enjoy the shining sun 🌞

As we make long days in the office we know how hard it can be to catch our daily bit of sunshine. We’re setting alarm clocks now to remind us that we should go out! Easter is the perfect opportunity to restore this balance! Take an outdoor walk or go picnicking with your family. Sunlight is not only nice and warm but also important for your health. When exposed to sunlight, your body produces vitamin D, which is vital for various functions.


  1. Remember the grateful moments🙏🏻

What are you thankful for? Research shows that thinking about what you are grateful for increases motivation, reduces stress and improves wellness in general. It also ensures that you can deal with negative emotions better. After waking up, we put a journal and a pen on our pillow. So when we go to bed in the evening we are reminded to do some journaling! It only takes 2 minutes and it’s worth every second of it. 

  1. Keep up the vibe🎶

Make a playlist with the songs that give you a happy feeling. Research has shown that happy songs work contagiously. Listening to happy songs will make you feel happier. It's a simple trick to enhance your mood. Bart has a playlist with his favourite happy songs that he listens to when he wants to turn around his mood. The first 5 minutes of it are not that enjoyable because initially, your mood is not in line with the song, but often after 5 minutes the feeling changes and that smile comes back!
