Last year was a long and hectic year for all of us. With the summer approaching, we have a little bit more time for ourselves. This is the ideal time to unwind and calm down by practising meditation.

Science🥼

Meditation has earned its stripes in a variety of scientific domains. A vast body of research has proven its benefits over and over again. The list of mental benefits is long, from emotional stability, increased confidence, reduced pain levels to a general improvement in mental health. Also, the physical impact of meditation and proper breathing in particular is becoming more evident.

Specific forms of meditation such as mindfulness teach you to observe thoughts and feelings and help you to be grounded in the present. Are you ready to wind down and become fully grounded in the present? 


Mindfulness in three simple steps

  1. Find a quiet place where you feel comfortable. Sit or lay down.
  2. Close your eyes and watch your breathing. Just observe your breathing pattern. Naturally, your breathing will slow down and you will feel more relaxed.
  3. It is normal for your attention to switch away from your breathing. When this occurs, observe your thoughts and then go back to your breathing.
