World-wide the lockdown has been prolonged or re-integrated. These 3 tips will help you to stay active during these unconventional times and will help you to feel physically and mentally fit!

  1. Go for a daily 20 min walk! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Schedule a moment in your calendar to go for a daily 20 min walk. Walking improves posture and strengthens muscles and bones. Besides, research shows that walking helps with weight loss. On top of this, walking has all kinds of psychological benefits. You will feel great afterwards!

  1. Short workout breaks๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿพ

Do you only have little time to move? By performing several short exercises in a row, you can move without taking a lot of time. For example, if you exercise 5 minutes a time 4 times a day, you still exercise 20 minutes a day and 140 minutes a week. This means that you almost meet the guidelines (150 minutes of moderate exercise per week).

  1. Take the stairs ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿป

This might feel like a logical one. However, during the lockdown, there isn't a real possibility to go to a sports facility. So let's transform your stairs into one! Research shows that climbing stairs improve your thinking ability and makes you feel better. It is a simple way to exercise more and become healthier.
